About
The Strawberry Solstice Run will be a 10-hour overnight timed run consisting of a 5.25-mile long loop and a 2.25 short loop beginning at 8:00 pm [dusk] on June 21st, 2025, and ending at 6:00 am [dawn] on June 22nd, 2025. Runners will run as many loops (long or short, or any combination of their choosing) as they can during that time frame, checking in at the start/finish after each loop.
We had a successful test run of this event in 2024 despite the wild weather and are looking forward to bringing it back in 2025! We will have a limit of 75 registrants.
You can expect a joyful, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere for this trail race, highlighting a beautiful area deep in the Driftless Area of southwestern Wisconsin.

Travel/Parking
TRAVEL >> Millville Bridal Unit is located 15 miles east of Prairie du Chien near the Wisconsin River. Expect about an 1:45 drive from Madison, 1:30 from La Crosse, and 65 min from Dubuque.
PARKING >> Parking will be at the start/finish area. The lot is small, so please park smart and carpool if you can!
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup will begin at 7:00pm, about an hour before the start of the event. We will make a few short announcements prior to the start of the event.
Registration Information
RESGISTRATION >> Registration will open Feb 1 and will be $45 (plus UltraSignup fees).
REFUNDS, TRANSFERS, EXCHANGES >> Entry fees are not refundable under any circumstance. Race registrations are not transferrable to other participants. Currently we do not allow transfers between race distances.
DEFERRALS >> The DTC is happy to provide race deferrals for entry into the event the following year for pregnancy, injury or serious illness. Contact us thru UltraSignup or our Contact Us page to request a deferral.
CANCELLATION POLICY >> The Driftless Trail Collective reserves the right to modify or cancel the race to due (including but no exclusive to) safety or trail condition concerns, natural disaster, weather, pandemic-related issues, or at the request of the State of WI DNR or local officials. In that event of a cancellation there will be no refunds.

Sustainability
The Strawberry Solstice 10 hour is a cupless race. We take sustainability seriously and want to keep our environmental impact to a minimum. You can purchase a collapsible cup for race day here.

Gender-Affirming Policy
When registering for the Strawberry Solstice Run and all events put on by the Driftless Trail Collective, please select the gender that matches your own. Transgender entrants can register to compete as either male or female with no restrictions. Non-binary entrants are welcome to register in either the explicit, non-binary category or in whichever gender category they wish.
